The first recording today is Charlie and Lola – I Can Train Your Dog.
Charlie and Lola are going out on a walk with Marv and Sizzles, but there’s a problem, Marv’s mum can’t find her handbag so they can’t go out.
Sizzles is being very naughty, according to Marv. He goes mad when you say the word “walk” and he howls at the TV during their favourite programmes, like Bat Cat.
He chewed Marv’s brand new trainers.
He destroys their dad’s newspaper.
They’re having some sausages, but Sizzles pulls them off the table. This is quite a clever dog to know to do this. But as Marv says, Sizzles will do anything for a sausage.
Lola thinks she and Charlie can train Sizzles. It’s not starting well.
Charlie thinks maybe Sizzles is too naughty. “It’s no good, Lola, Marv is right.” “No – Sizzles can do anything! He can leap through actual hoops!”
“And he can crawl through difficult tunnels.”
“And he can find things with his extra sniffy nose.”
“Sizzles will do anything for a sausage.”
She gets him to sniff her Foxy, then hides it, and Sizzles finds it.
They return to Marv’s to show off their progress. By tempting him with a sausage, he’s quite during Bat Cat.
He’ll ignore things on the floor.
But Morton spots the sausage and eats it.
When Sizzles sees it’s gone, he goes mad, and ends up pulling everything off the coat stand. Which is lucky because that’s where Marv’s mum’s handbag was hiding.
