The first recording today is an episode of The Batman – Pets. The recording is missing the start.
The Penguin has stolen a sonic control device which he hoped would control a giant Condor, but which instead controls The Man Bat.
There’s a masked intruder in the Batcave.
Batman has the other sonic control device, so he hopes to capture Penguin’s frequency to break his hold over Man Bat.
Batman lays a trap for Penguin – a Solid Gold Penguin statue.
Alfred captures the frequency, but before he can send it to Batman, the racoon in the Batcave disrupts the power.
Batman has to fight Man Bat which Alfred tries to restore power.
He finally manages, and Batman can take over control of Man Bat and get him to bring him The Penguin.

Media Centre Description: Geography series with Dr Iain Stewart. Our planet is unique within the solar system. Four-and-a-half billion years ago it had a ‘twin’ named Theia which was absorbed into the Earth, increasing its gravity and allowing it to form an atmosphere. Iain travels to Meteor Crater in Arizona to explore the atmosphere’s role in protecting us from bombardment by meteorites. Life on earth only prospers because it is provided with right amount of heat from the sun.
