This recording starts with the end of Bobinogs.

There’s a trail for Monster Cafe.

Some facts about Andy.

Then another Charlie and Lola repeat – What If I Get Lost in the Middle of Nowhere. I looked at this on a previous showing.

Media Centre Description: Children’s animation. Join Lola and Charlie, a brother and sister, as they deal with topics that affect their everyday lives. A surprise school trip is planned. As Charlie, Marv and Lotta speculate about where it might be to, Lola starts to worry that she might get lost. Bright clothes, whistles and pebbles all come into play in an attempt to avoid getting lost. Finally, however, the school trip takes them to a place where you are meant to get lost – a maze!

After this there’s a trail for Space Pirates, the now compulsory Autumn song, and the recording stops during an episode of Tweenies.

The next recording starts with the end of Coast. If only we’d known at the time, we could have stopped it.

There’s a trail for the grown-up Autumnwatch.

There’s also a trail for Joe’s Palace.

Then, a repeat showing of HeroesCompany Man.

Media Centre Description: Drama series in which people all over the world deal with the newly-discovered superpowers they possess. H.R.G.’s past catches up to him as Matt and Ted Sprague come to Texas looking for answers and take him, his wife, son and Claire hostage, leading to a tragic and explosive showdown. Secrets are revealed and new threats to the heroes are introduced.

After this there’s a trail for The Tudors and a Hustle-themed Children in Need trail. Then the recording stops just as the next programme is starting.

The next recording starts with an episode of Heroes Unmasked already in progress, although it’s only missing a few seconds from the start. This is Turning Tides, looking at the episode Company Man.

Jack Coleman: “It’s just another day at the office on Heroes. You see all the different crispy Claires over there. You know, it’s a wild and wacky show.”

He’s not kidding about the crispy Claires.

“They’re all looking like Dawn of the Dead at the moment, so I’m looking very good compared to them. There is fire in my house and I’m obviously in it, just a little bit.”

Ashley Crow who plays Claire’s mother is actually married to Matthew John Armstrong, who plays Ted Sprague, and she talks about the scene where Ted threatens to shoot Mrs Bennet. “The moment where he holds a gun to my head is an image that our son will never see.”

Armstrong says “I always felt a lot of trepidation about having to point a gun in my wife’s face.”

Eric Roberts on his character, Thompson: “I know everything about him, everything about his daughter, and everything about his wife. And it’s not all copacetic. Some of it is bad.”

The director is Allan Arkush, director of Rock ‘n’ Roll High School and Co-Director (with Joe Dante) of Hollywood Boulevard.

Jack Coleman talks a lot about the shot where Claire comes out of the house and the who family are together. “There’s something, you know, metaphorical as well in Bennett taking off his jacket, literally removing the company from him, from his person, going to her, wrapping her up, being protective of her. And then what Allan did, which is so great, was he has the family all in a unit and he had the camera swirling around the family. He has literally made the family the centre of the universe.” You see? It’s all about the hugs.

I wonder if this is the first time we’ve heard from Jimmy Jean Louis, who plays the Haitian, because they were trying to keep the secret that he wasn’t mute?

The recording stops before the episode does.

Media Centre Description: Behind the scenes of the drama series. The programme takes a Bennet’s-eye view to reveal where the web of lies and deceit all began. Featuring backstage footage of Bennet’s world going up in flames, and insights from HRG himself Jack Coleman and his on-screen friends and foes. They share stories about the filming of shocking scenes.

The final recording today starts with a trail for Titty Bang Bang 3.

There’s also trails for Don’t Tell The Bride and Celebrity Scissorhands.

Then, a new episode of HeroesParasite. According to Google Translate, this says “Summary of Previous Episodes”

Thompson talks to Bennet about what he remembers from Claire’s disappearance. Since the Haitian wiped his memory, he can’t tell him anything, which Thompson confirms is true with the captured Matt Parkman.

The FBI come to see Nathan Petrelli, asking pointed questions about why he’s accepted large donations from the Linderman groups, but after they’ve scanned the room, they talk freely and we learn that Nathan is working with them to bring Linderman down. He’s heading to Las Vegas for a meeting.

Bennet comes home, or rather to the hotel where his wife and son are staying because their house got trashed by Ted Sprague last episode. She make a reference to flooding, so it looks like she’s had another memory wipe, but when Bennet tells her he has to go on a trip, she puts on some loud opera and tells him she knows everything, and he told her yesterday to pretend the Haitian had taken her memory. She also gives him a note written in his own handwriting saying “Claire’s with friends. Don’t go after her.” There’s a knock on the door as his colleagues arrive. He tells her “All right, look, we can’t let anybody know about this.” She replies “Don’t worry. I know how to play dumb.” “I could never love you enough.” “You do fine.” And suddenly Mrs Bennet is one of my favourite characters now she’s been given an opportunity to have some agency, finally.

Hiro is back in Las Vegas, but he can’t get anywhere near Mr Linderman’s building. But Nathan finds him and helps get him to Linderman’s curator of rare objects, where he’s hoping to find a magic sword of some kind. I’m guessing he thinks the sword will give him back his powers.

The police turn up at Isaac’s apartment, asking about Simone, who we saw shot dead there by him two episodes ago. So they’re all rather surprised when Simone arrives asking what the trouble is. When the police leave, Bennet walks in, and Simone turns back into Candice, Bennet’s new partner, who can impersonate anybody.

Mohinder has found out that Sylar is Sylar, and has drugged him so his powers don’t work.

Hiro gets into the vault where Linderman keeps his valuables, and is just about to grab the sword when the curator interrupts him. “There are 754 members of the security team in this hotel. All of them with the instructions to drop what they’re doing and come running if I push this button.” He pushes the button and the room locks down. He’s about to cuff Hiro when one of the security guards arrives, but instead of taking Hiro, he bashes the curator over the head. It’s Ando, who didn’t go back to Japan after all. I think I cheered.

Upstairs, the FBI agents listening in to Nathan get a visit from evil Jessica, who kills them.

Isaac has painted another picture.

Nathan gets a visit from Jessica – except now it’s Niki in charge, so she doesn’t kill him. She wants to help him get to Linderman.

After their great scene earlier, there’s another scene with Bennet and his wife, but this time she appears to betray him. Except it’s not her, it’s his shapeshifting partner.

Hiro gets the sword, and he and Ando escape using his powers, but they also transport to the future, and it looks like the bomb still goes off.

Claire gives the Haitian the slip at an airport, and makes her way back to New York to find Peter Petrelli. Instead of Peter she finds his mother there. And the Haitian is already there. “Who are you?” Claire asks. “I’m your Grandmother” she replies.

Nathan has his meeting with Linderman, so we meet him at last, and he’s Malcolm McDowell. They talk, and Nathan pulls his gun. Then Linderman tells him that he can win his election, “And two years from now, through a series of fluke circumstances, you will find yourself in the White House. A heartbeat away from the presidency. A life of meaning, Nathan. Think about it. The choice is yours.” Nathan doesn’t shoot him.

Peter goes to see Mohinder, to find him stuck to the ceiling, and Sylar there. Sylar starts to cut into Peter’s head as the episode ends.

Media Centre Description: Drama series in which people all over the world deal with the newly-discovered superpowers they possess. With the election and NYC’s destruction looming, Nathan has a disturbing meeting with the shadowy Linderman. Hiro’s attempt to steal the sword steers him into a grim new direction. Suresh makes a breakthrough on ‘the list’, but at great cost. D.L. begins to suspect all is not well at home. Isaac paints his most terrible painting yet. New ‘hero’ Candice Wilmer makes an illusive debut.

Recorded from BBC THREE on Wednesday 31st October 2007 22:00

BBC Genome: BBC THREE Wednesday 31st October 2007 22:00

After this there’s a trail for Spooks and one for Don’t Tell The Bride.

Then the recording ends during an episode of Celebrity Scissorhands.
