The recording stops with the start of the next episode.

The next recording is also a repeat of Secret ShowBogie Ball and is also truncated, so it’s good that it’s a repeat.

Media Centre Description: Comedy series for 7-12 year olds about two agents in a top secret organisation. U.Z.Z. intelligence reveals that the World Leader eats her bogies – information which in the wrong hands could prove disastrous. Unfortunately T.H.E.M. find out and Doctor Doctor creates an oscillator machine that makes bogies explosive. Can Victor and Anita stop Doctor Doctor using her machine and prevent the World Leader from biting off more than she can chew?

The next recording starts with some music. I’m too old to know who this band is.

Then it’s a repeat of The SimpsonsTreehouse of Horror VIII.

Media Centre Description: Three terrifying tales: Homer battles killer mutants after Springfield is destroyed by a nuclear blast, a matter transportation device melds Bart with a housefly, and, in colonial times, Marge is accused of being a witch.

After this, the recording continues with the start of another Simpsons episode. See later.

The next recording is an episode of M.I. HighGreen Finger. Looks like they fixed the problem with the episode titles in Media Centre.

A government spokesman, announcing building of new homes on green land, is attacked by a plant, which then runs out of the door.

The team track where the plants came from. Burnham woods, which sounds a bit like a Macbeth reference.

The walking plants aren’t quite as terrifying as Triffids.

A suspiciously human looking plant appears to be in charge.

After a suggestion from Daisy, Mr Flatley takes the boys to Burnham Woods for some Outwards Bounds training to improve their discipline.

Mr Flatley is taking this very seriously.

The plants breed very quickly and Lenny has trouble keeping them down.

The plants are attacking in the woods too.

The leader of the Outward Bounds camp isn’t such a survivalist. “Sorry, the reception’s terrible. Yeah, can’t wait for that mobile mast to get up here. You’re getting a fair price for the woods, so I want the show home thrown in as well.”

The real villain is his assistant Charlie Darwin.

Daisy has been caught by the walking flower. She tries to reason with it.

Blane finds Charlie Darwin, and the plants have turned on him too. Rose and Daisy tell him to zap the root balls.

Media Centre Description: Children’s spy drama with high school kids Blane, Daisy and Rose. When crazed plants attack anti-green targets, Blane goes solo, but it’s unclear whether his boy power is enough to weed out the enemy.

After this there’s a trail for Best of Friends.

Then the recording stops with the start of Stupid.

The final recording is the next episode of The SimpsonsBart Star.

The children of Springfield are encouraged to take up sports to lose weight. “OK, Milhouse, let’s try out the new cup.”

Flanders is the team coach, but Homer keeps criticising him until he can’t take any more, and he tells Homer he can coach.

There’s a flashback to Homer’s past as a young gymnast.

Marge tells Homer he’s being too hard on Bart because of how his father treated him, so Homer goes the other way and makes Bart the Quarterback. He’s not good at it.

Joe Namath breaks down on front of the Simpsons house. “Do you think maybe you could give me some pointers?” “Sure. There’s only one thing you need to know to be a great quarterback.” “Joe, honey, I fixed it. It was just vapor lock.” “Oh, say, look, I got to run. Remember what I told you.”

Bart fakes an injury to avoid playing.

There’s a King of the Hill cameo.

Media Centre Description: Homer becomes coach of Springfield pee-wee football team and appoints Bart as quarterback.

Recorded from Channel 4 on Sunday 30th March 2008 16:15

After this the recording stops with the start of Alive – Thrown to the Lions.
